We have a new node named “Contact Update”. Contact update node can be used like the “Data Space Update” node in automated flow. In the journey, we might need some changes on the master contact table after or before a node. For example when an action node is used in the journey we have to add a constant value or a current date to the master contact table. This node provides us to update a master contact column.
First of all. Chose any contact having the email address or phone number.
Next, create the one-time campaign as shown in the figure below.
Hit the Next button and you'll see the following window.
Now add the audience to the campaign.
After the audience has been added, drag and drop the contact update node to campaign. Double click on the node to specify details.
Here, you can add constant values for gsm, name, gender etc. as shown below.
Click on the Save button and next add email or SMS to campaign.
Publish the campaign and the user will receive the e-mail. Also, you can check contact details from the master contact table.
