Conversion & Visit Tracking Shared Deadline

Conversion & Visit Tracking Shared Deadline

This feature improves how tracking deadlines are defined and understood in Campaigns by introducing a single, shared deadline for both Conversion Goal and Visit Tracking.

By unifying the deadline logic, users can now control how long campaign outcomes are measured in a clearer way. Whether you are tracking a conversion action or a visit, the same deadline applies, starting from the moment the message is delivered to the contact. This eliminates confusion and ensures consistent tracking behavior across campaigns.

This update gives users a clearer mental model of how tracking works in flow campaigns. Instead of managing tracking durations separately or wondering how visit tracking is affected, users define one deadline that governs all post-delivery tracking.

The added informational text on the screen explicitly explains what it applies to, helping users confidently set tracking windows for time-sensitive campaigns.

How to Access

You can access this feature while creating or editing a flow campaign.

Navigate to Campaigns > Flow Campaigns, then click New and choose either One-Time or Recurring. After completing the Name & Schedule step, continue to the Campaign Workflow screen. From there, open Delivery Settings and switch to the Conversion Tracking tab.

This is where both Conversion Goal and Visit Tracking settings are managed together.

Conversion Goal & Visit Tracking

How to Use the Shared Tracking Deadline

Within the Conversion Tracking tab, you can enable Conversion GoalVisit Tracking, or both. As soon as at least one of these options is turned on, the Deadline field becomes available.

The deadline you define here applies to both tracking types. Tracking begins when the message is delivered to the contact and continues until the specified deadline is reached. During this period, conversions and visits are counted according to your campaign configuration.

An informational message is also displayed directly on the screen to clarify this behavior:

"This deadline applies to both Conversion Goal and Visit Tracking, starting from the delivery of the message to the contact."

This ensures users always understand how the deadline is calculated and what it affects.

The shared Conversion & Visit Tracking Deadline simplifies campaign setup by aligning all tracking under a single, clearly explained timeframe. It helps users define accurate measurement windows, reduces misinterpretation of results, and provides a more intuitive campaign configuration experience.
