Geofence Campaign - Add Segment

Geofence Campaign - Add Segment

The "Geofence Campaign - Add Segment" feature ensures geofence-triggered notifications are sent exclusively to a selected segment of users. Previously, geofence campaigns targeted all users without the option to narrow the audience. This new functionality optimizes campaigns by focusing on specific user groups, improving relevance and engagement.

How to Access

  1. Navigate to Campaign > Targeting > Geofencing.
  2. Click New to start creating a campaign.
  3. Select Single Channel as the campaign type.
  4. Choose Push as the channel.
  5. Locate the Whom to Show section on the screen.
  6. Click the Visitors that satisfy the filters option.
  7. Open the Select Target Audience dropdown menu and choose the desired segment.
  8. Click Next to proceed with the campaign settings.

How to Use

  1. Access Campaign Settings:
    • Start a new geofence campaign by following the access steps above.
  2. Select a Segment:
    • Locate Whom to show section and choose Visitors that satisfy the filters option.
    • A dropdown menu will appear listing available segments.
    • Browse or search for the desired segment.
    • Select the segment and confirm the selection.
  3. Save Settings:
    • Ensure the selected segment is saved in the campaign settings.
  4. Proceed to Next Steps:
    • Click Next to move forward with configuring the campaign settings.
  5. Launch Campaign:
    • Finalize the campaign configuration and launch it.
    • Notifications will only be sent to users matching the selected segment criteria.

This enhanced functionality empowers marketers to deliver more targeted geofence-triggered notifications, ensuring campaigns reach the most relevant audience.
